Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Make Ready professional to efficiently prepare apartment units for re-leasing. You will perform turn tasks on vacant units, meet quality standards, and support curb appeal while coordinating with supervisors.

The role requires 1+ year maintenance experience and basic trades knowledge ( drywall, carpentry, caulking). This on-site position offers full-time hours, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, drywall, basic carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Follows the make-ready checklist to complete necessary repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in, as directed by the Supervisor or manager.
• Inspects sheetrock and makes repairs; caulks and seals windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers; and performs touch-up paint
• Maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasks
• Cuts expenses by fixing rather than replacing parts, and avoiding being wasteful with supplies
• Assists with property curb appeal by picking up trash, pressure-washing, performing general cleaning, and painting, as needed
• Complies with safety and risk-management policies by participating in the safety meetings, OSHA training, and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
• Delivers a high level of customer service by treating residents and others with respect and completing assigned work with efficiency and urgency
• Performs other duties, as assigned
