Job summary

RPM Living is hiring a Make Ready technician to efficiently prepare apartment units for re-leasing. The role involves following checklists, performing repairs, painting, and ensuring quality standards on site at an apartment community.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in maintenance, basic carpentry, drywall, and a willingness to work with safety protocols. Year-round benefits and competitive pay accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• HVAC experience a plus but not required
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Follow make-ready checklist to complete repairs and improvements to units.
• Inspect and repair sheetrock; caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers; touch-up paint.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Cut expenses by fixing rather than replacing parts and avoiding waste.
• Assist with property curb appeal: cleaning, pressure-washing, painting.
• Adhere to safety policies; participate in safety meetings and OSHA training.
• Deliver high level of customer service to residents with efficiency and urgency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
