Job summary

AOG Living in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in and ensure all make-ready standards are met. You will perform repairs, touch-up painting, and coordinate follow-up work with the Community Manager and Maintenance Manager.

You must be able to read diagrams and meters, use hand and power tools safely, and apply Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Own tools are required and strong interpersonal skills are essential for coordinating with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications as required by State and Local Jurisdictions.
• Must supply own tools.
• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs.
• Ability to read diagrams and meters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.
• Review the make-ready board and take direction from management to determine actions.
• Make repairs/replacements necessary for unit occupancy as per checklist.
• Apply touch-up and full-paints to interior/exterior surfaces.
• Clean trash from apartment homes before, during, and after make-ready.
• Inspect completed apartments and schedule follow-up work to designate 'Ready'.
