Job summary

AOG Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant apartments for move-ins and ensure standards are met. The role may include pool maintenance and grounds keeping as needed, under the Community Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician supervision.

Responsibilities include making repairs, applying paint touch-ups, and inspecting units for readiness. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, own basic tools, and read English to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions and perform repairs or troubleshooting.
• Must read and write in English to read diagrams, meters, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.
• Review the make-ready board and follow direction from the Community Manager or Maintenance Manager.
• Make repairs/replacements necessary for units to be occupied per the make-ready checklist.
• Apply touch-up and full paints to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Clean out trash from apartment homes before, during, and after make-ready activity.
• Inspect completed apartment homes and schedule any follow-up work before designating as Ready.
