Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team at Montgomery Place Apartments in Montgomery, IL. You will restore vacant homes to market-ready status and complete turn processes to meet move-in deadlines.

The role requires skills in drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing, with HVAC experience preferred. You will work with residents and coworkers, maintain tools, and participate in snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building maintenance including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred but training can be provided.
• HVAC Certification or experience is preferred but willing to train.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all vacant apartment homes are restored to market-ready status
• Completing full vacant turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows as well as carpentry and ceramic tile installation
• Completing administrative paperwork as necessary
• Assisting with snow and ice removal, as required
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
