Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure vacant units are turned to market-ready condition by performing repairs, caulking, sealing, painting, and general upkeep. You will follow the community make-ready checklist and document work completed, while upholding safety policies and providing quality resident service.

The role requires frequent physical activity, ability to handle tools, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and turn
• Able to work with make-ready checklists and ensure quality standards
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and performs repairs or replacements as needed
• Performs touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units
• Maintains grounds and common areas and assists with cleaning and painting
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing when possible
• Completes make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation
• Follows safety policies and attends safety meetings
• Provides courteous resident service and addresses maintenance requests promptly
