Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units meet quality standards and are turned to market ready condition through timely repairs and make-readies. You will follow community checklists, perform caulking, drywall repairs, painting, grounds upkeep, and safety compliance, while delivering responsive resident services and documenting work orders.

This role requires physical stamina, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and a commitment to cost-conscious, high-quality

Qualifications

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and performs repairs or replacement as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by supervisor or manager.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities with cleaning and upkeep.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible and using tools correctly.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation timely.
• Follows safety policies and participates in safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and report incidents promptly.
