Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Make-Ready Specialist in Katy, TX to turn vacant apartments into market-ready homes. You will perform repairs, caulking, sealing around windows and fixtures, inspect sheetrock, and do touch-up painting per the community’s standards.

You will also maintain grounds and common areas, support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts, and complete required maintenance documentation with attention to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or make-ready tasks for residential units.
• Ability to caulk, seal around windows, sinks, and bathrooms.
• Ability to inspect sheetrock and perform repairs as needed.
• Ability to perform touch-up painting and general cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready repairs and improvements for vacant units.
• Ensure proper caulking and sealing around windows and fixtures.
• Inspect and repair sheetrock as needed.
• Perform touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; clean and paint curbs and signage.
• Support cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing where possible.
• Complete make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with safety policies.
