Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kansas to perform repairs and make-ready tasks on vacant apartments to ensure timely turnover to market-ready condition. Duties include completing repairs, caulking, sealing, painting, and documenting tasks in accordance with the community's standards.

You will work on-site, support grounds and common areas, and follow safety practices while meeting resident service expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing repairs and make-ready tasks per community checklist.
• Ability to caulk, seal, paint, and perform general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to move-in.
• Caulk and seal around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair as needed.
• Perform touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; general cleaning.
• Fix rather than replace parts when possible to control costs.
• Complete make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation on time.
• Adhere to safety policies and attend required trainings.
