Job summary

Vesta Management, TX, is seeking an affordable housing experienced Make-Ready Technician to support maintenance operations at Park Yellowstone Townhomes in Houston, TX. Join a team focused on delivering a positive resident experience and be part of Vesta’s success story.

The Make Ready Technician will perform efficient and fast turnover of apartments, ensure move-in readiness, and assist with common area work orders while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Apartment community experience required.
• Knowledge of drywall, lock change, and light electrical, carpentry, flooring, plumbing.
• HVAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartment for occupancy within three to five days of vacancy, to maximize occupancy.
• Perform make-ready tasks: cleaning, painting, flooring, caulking, wall prep, and fixture replacements.
• Inspect units and report additional maintenance needs beyond initial notes.
• Ensure safety and maintain property appearance; assist with common areas as needed.
