Job summary

TAM Residential is hiring a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments by executing thorough cleaning, maintenance, and repairs to meet habitability, safety, and aesthetic standards before new tenants move in.

You will perform unit preparation, basic repairs, painting, and documentation, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Eligible associates receive medical/dental/vision coverage, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess unit conditions and determine appropriate repairs.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks independently
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in apartment or property maintenance
• Experience with painting, flooring installation, and general carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical manuals

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units by cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and fixtures.
• Perform deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, and appliances to move-in condition.
• Inspect units for needed repairs and safety issues; coordinate with vendors.
• Document completed work and any outstanding issues.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure compliance with codes.
