Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX to support day-to-day upkeep of our residential communities. You will perform maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and help ensure safe, well-maintained properties for residents and guests.

You’ll work closely with team members, vendors, and residents, prioritizing safety and high-quality service while adapting to a dynamic schedule and on-call needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills and flexible work hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
