Job summary

At CWS Apartment Homes, the Maintenance Technician helps maintain community integrity and delivers exceptional customer service. You will interact with residents and guests, upholding safety standards and operational efficiency across the property.

Responsibilities include making apartments ready, completing service requests, and performing preventive maintenance while supporting safety programs and team communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work varied schedules, including weekends and emergencies.
• Professional and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance.
• Support resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Adhere to safety and risk management programs.
