Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance community integrity while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves collaborating with residents and team members to keep properties safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include preparing apartments, completing service requests, and performing routine maintenance across common areas. A valid license, tools, and certifications ensure readiness to handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year in apartment maintenance or a trade with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or HVAC knowledge preferred.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required or in progress at hire.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
