Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance community integrity while delivering outstanding service. The role involves making-ready apartments, completing service requests, and maintaining common areas with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will interact with residents, vendors, and leadership, supporting preventative maintenance and resident satisfaction initiatives while adhering to company policies and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least 1 year experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications are required.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills and flexibility for weekends/emergency calls.
• Willing to travel to other properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and team.
• Participate in risk management and safety programs.
