Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the AYA ABQ property in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, making-ready processes for vacant units, inventory management, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance on the property.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting completed work.
• Access materials and track inventory; return unused items and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently; follow safety procedures.
