Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform essential maintenance on our on-site property in a residential community. The role focuses on diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and ensuring safety and quality across buildings and common areas.

The position requires basic technical skills, adherence to safety standards, and flexibility to respond to after-hours calls. Onsite housing discounts and robust benefits are available for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities meet standards.
• Assist in make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance following safety standards and codes.
• Prepares units through pre-move-out inspections, creates punch lists, schedules vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisor on reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Supports grounds and common areas maintenance; performs cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
