Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical standards of our property by performing routine and preventive maintenance across buildings, grounds, and amenities. The role requires diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

The position also covers make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and timely documentation. A focus on cost efficiency and reliability is essential for this onsite role at Greystar properties.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recovery certifications required.
• State and local jurisdiction certs required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property per policies and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and supplies.
• Manages materials and equipment by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying for re-ordering.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Assists in grounds and common areas upkeep, including cleaning, painting curbs and signage.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts instead of replacing when possible.
