Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician at The Vinoy at Innovation Park in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventive maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant homes. EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and on-call flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory and request materials; return unused items to storage; notify supervisor for reorders.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Assist maintenance of grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving practices by repairing parts where feasible and using tools properly.
