Job summary

Ackermann Group is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician 2 for Trellises Apartments in Florence, Kentucky. You will perform unit make-readies and routine maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and painting, while contributing to ground and pool maintenance as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on training with room to grow within the maintenance trade. A valid driver’s license is required, and EPA CAMT/CPO certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform unit make-readies and basic repairs.
• EPA Type I & II, CAMT, and/or CPO certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit make-readies and maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC & painting.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds upkeep.
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Participate in move-in/out inspections and inventory maintenance.
• Provide preventive maintenance and general property upkeep as directed by supervisor.
