Job summary

POAH Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Walnut Grove Apartments in Blacklick, OH. The role involves hands-on maintenance, safety compliance, and routine upkeep across 176 units on a 10.5 acre campus.

You will inspect facilities, perform repairs, and assist with make-readies to ensure quality housing for residents. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in apartment maintenance, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience in apartment maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Insure a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment.
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs and make‑ready repairs and services.
• Keep grounds neat and coordinate make-ready repairs and services.
