Job summary

MAA Cypresswood is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across apartment homes and property facilities in Spring, TX. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks while upholding high standards of workmanship.

The role requires 1–3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC proficiency, EPA Type II or Universal certification (or within 90 days).

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartments and property facilities are in good order.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units.
• Repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing, carpentry, and locks as needed.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and update residents after repairs are complete.
