Job summary

MAA Plaza Midwood in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to keep apartment homes and property facilities in top condition. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, while maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for residents.

With 1–3 years in multifamily maintenance, HVAC experience, and EPA Type II/Universal certification (or within 90 days), you’ll contribute to a reliable, safe community.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and property facilities in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing and carpentry.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and communicate with residents after repairs.
