MAA is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician in South Carolina. You will perform general maintenance and repair tasks to keep apartment homes and facilities in good order, including HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and lock work.

You’ll follow a preventative maintenance schedule and ensure high resident satisfaction. Qualifications include 1–3 years in multifamily maintenance, HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification (or willing to obtain

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartments and facilities in good order.
• Prepare apartments for move-in; diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, electrical outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Repair plumbing, carpentry, and locks; follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
