Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across our Prairie Trace community. You will diagnose and fix HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and locks, while preparing units for move-in and following a preventative maintenance schedule.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification (or within 90 days of hire) and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily maintenance or related fields.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartments and facilities in good order.
• Prepare apartments for move-in; diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Follow preventative maintenance plans and communicate completed work to residents.
