Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of upkeep tasks across the community while delivering resident-focused service and maintaining safety standards.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with move-ins/outs, scheduling, and safety compliance. This on-site role requires a hands-on team player who can manage equipment, tools, and logs and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and timely.
• Monitor inventory levels of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors and supervisors.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist with move-in/move-out, turn events, and curb appeal.
