Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across an apartment community. Responsibilities include completing service requests, assisting with maintenance turns, and maintaining safety and cleanliness while providing excellent resident service.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II preferred, and the ability to work weekends/holidays with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all other systems at community.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to maintain and enhance the community.
• Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and timely.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and supervisors.
• Assist with move-in/move-out process and maintenance-related turn events.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and keep chemical logs.
