Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across an apartment community. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold safety, keep equipment running, and deliver excellent resident service.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience and the ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance systems. A valid on-site presence is expected, with rotating on-call duties and weekends possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EPA Type I and II certification is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to maintain property value.
• Assist with inventory of tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents and supervisors.
• Assist move-in/move-out processes and maintenance turn events.
• Perform pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
