Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across an apartment community. You will be responsible for repairs, preventive maintenance, and keeping common areas clean and safe while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliances.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
Must live within 30 miles of the property.
Rotating on-call schedule; may include weekends/holidays.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all systems.
Other licenses and certifications as required by law.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance tasks to keep apartments and common areas in good condition.
Assist with preventative maintenance and inventory management.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and coworkers.
Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
Address complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to curb appeal and overall property upkeep.
