Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle custodial duties, grounds work, breezeway cleaning, and make-ready support for apartment communities on-site. You’ll operate power washers, floor scrubbers, and related equipment, and respond to after-hours maintenance needs with a focus on timely, quality repairs.

The role requires attention to detail, basic carpentry and trades knowledge, and the ability to work weekdays, with some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction, repair, drywall, and make-ready.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties and maintain common areas inside and outside the property.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance/Community Manager (trash, power washing, debris cleanup).
• Clean breezeways, wash surfaces, and maintain doors/handrails.
• Assist in make-ready units and trash-outs for vacant apartments.
• Operate equipment such as power washer, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and sweepers.
