Job summary

Monarch Investment And Management Group is seeking an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician in Omaha to join our hands-on team. The role covers HVAC repair, make-readies, work orders and grounds, with EPA certification and HVAC experience required.

Compensation includes $26.00–$29.00 per hour plus potential bonuses. The position features a strong benefits package, on-call duties, and a pathway to growth across multiple Monarch properties nationwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent.
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• HVAC with EPA certification or boiler knowledge.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers).
• Pool experience with CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants.
• Paint/stain interior and exterior areas.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with exterior structural maintenance and pool/grounds as needed.
• Support 24/7 emergency cell coverage and on-call rotation.

Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician

HIRING - EXPERIENCED APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECH (FULL-TIME) - Join our awesome apartment maintenance team in Omaha! This is a hands-on job that will deal with HVAC repair, make-readies, work orders and grounds. An EPA certification and HVAC experience is required for this position.

PAY: $26-29 an hour plus up to $3,000+ in bonuses throughout the year!

BONUSES POTENTIAL: Up to $750 quarterly bonuses (based on site performance)

SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5PM (80hrs paid time off 1st year, paid holidays)
On-call 1x every 4 weeks

POSITION DETAILS: In this position, you will float between our 7 properties maintenance teams and assist when and where needed. A strong background in HVAC is required to be considered for this position. The right fit should be personable and a team player, ready for whatever comes there way.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
• Snow removal (when applicable)
• Pool maintenance (where applicable)
• Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)

The Experience We Like To See:

• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
• Required experience in HVAC with EPA certification and/or boiler system knowledge, air conditioning repair knowledge is necessary
• Pool experience with CPO certification preferred
• Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
• Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
