Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Middletown, OH is hiring a full-time Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician. Schedule is 8:30-5:30, Monday–Friday, with a 3-week on-call cycle and a $100 on-call bonus plus 1.5 hours paid for call outs.

Compensation is $22–$24 per hour plus quarterly bonuses up to $750. The role involves plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance across units and property grounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred.
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Plumbing and electrical required.
• EPA Universal certification and HVAC repair experience a plus.
• CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers.
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (interview).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.
