Monarch Investment and Management Group in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Westport Station Apartments. You will keep the property running smoothly, performing routine repairs to ensure residents live in a safe, comfortable home.

We offer pay of $23.00–$27.00/hour, quarterly bonuses up to $3,000 annually, on-call pay, medical insurance under $50/month, vision, dental, life, disability, PTO, a 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement with paid training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in maintenance.
• EPA Certification preferred (for HVAC work).
• HVAC Certification and CPO Certification are a plus.
• Proficiency in drywall repair, painting, and carpentry.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Water heater experience (electric and gas).

Responsibilities

• Completing work orders promptly based on priority.
• Turning and making apartments move-in ready between resident occupancy.
• Painting/staining (interior and exterior).
• HVAC maintenance and repair (EPA certification preferred).
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Maintaining property grounds and common areas.
• Performing preventive maintenance.
• Keeping a clean, organized maintenance shop.
• Participating in the 24/7 on-call rotation with other team members.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping our property running smoothly and ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable home. Your responsibilities include:

• Completing work orders promptly based on priority
• Turning and making apartments move-in ready between resident occupancy
• Painting/staining (interior and exterior)
• HVAC maintenance and repair (EPA certification preferred)
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs (e.g., copper pipe sweating, outlets, switches, light fixtures, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers)
• Maintaining property grounds and common areas
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Keeping a clean, organized maintenance shop
• Participating in the 24/7 on-call rotation with other team members

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for a resourceful, hands-on professional with experience in apartment maintenance. Here’s what we need:

• 1+ years’ experience in maintenance
• EPA Certification preferred (for HVAC work)
• HVAC Certification and CPO Certification are a plus!
• Proficiency in drywall repair, painting, and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
