Job summary

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC-certified Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Memphis, TN. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required (Universal preferred).
• Two or more years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Physical ability to perform the tasks assigned.
• General knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to maintenance and repair work.
• Candidates must have their own tools.
• Must pass credit check, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Appliance repairs.
• Repair and installation of HVAC equipment.
• Plumbing repairs.
• Electrical repairs.
• Install, repair, and rekey locks.
• Move and install appliances.
• Routine preventive maintenance.
• Preparing apartments for move-ins.
• Assist other company technicians as needed in trouble shooting and repairs.

• Routine preventive maintenance
• Preparing apartments for move-ins
• Assist other company technicians as needed in trouble shooting and repairs
• Adhere to company safety policies, including applicable OSHA safety standards
• Daily documentation of work performed
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

• HVAC certification required (Universal preferred)
• Two or more years of apartment maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Physical ability to perform the tasks assigned
• General knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to maintenance and repair work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to complete required documentation of work performed on a daily basis
• Candidates must have their own tools
• Candidates must have a reliable vehicle suitable for maintenance work
• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
• Must pass credit check, background check, and drug screening
