Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Westport Station Apartments in Maryland Heights, MO. You’ll keep our property running smoothly, perform repairs, and ensure residents have a safe, comfortable home.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and is comfortable with on-call rotations. EPA/CPO certifications are a plus, and a commitment to quality workmanship is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in maintenance
• EPA Certification preferred (for HVAC work)
• HVAC Certification and CPO Certification are a plus
• Proficiency in drywall repair, painting, and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Water heater experience (electric and gas)

Responsibilities

• Completing work orders promptly based on priority
• Turning and making apartments move-in ready between resident occupancy
• Painting/staining (interior and exterior)
• HVAC maintenance and repair
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs (e.g., copper pipe sweating, outlets, switches, light fixtures, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers)
• Maintaining property grounds and common areas
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Keeping a clean, organized maintenance shop
• Participating in the 24/7 on-call rotation with other team members

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping our property running smoothly and ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable home. Your responsibilities include:
