Job summary

Monarch Investment And Management Group in Kettering, OH is hiring an Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician. Schedule is 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call once every 5 weeks (USD $100 bonus for on-call weeks and minimum 1.5 hours paid for call outs).

Compensation is USD $21–$23 per hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to USD $750. You will complete work orders, prep units between tenants, and perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred; 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Basic drywall, painting, and carpentry; plumbing and electrical experience.
• EPA Universal Certification a plus; CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of appliances, including washers and dryers.
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (interview).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready between tenant occupancy.
• Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.

• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.
