Job summary

Monarch Investment And Management Group is seeking an Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician for year-round 40-hour work in Fairborn, Ohio, at Arlington Village Apartments.

The role offers an 8:30–5:30 schedule, on-call every three weeks with a $100 bonus, and paid call-out time. Compensation includes $23–$25/hour plus quarterly bonuses up to $750 and up to $500/year for tool reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting and carpentry.
• Plumbing and electrical experience.
• EPA HVAC Certification is a plus.
• CPO Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready between tenant occupancy.
• Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Assist in exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Support 24/7 emergency on-call system.

POSITION: Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician

SCHEDULE:

8:30-5:30PM Monday through Friday, On-call once every 3 weeks ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5hrs paid for call outs)

COMPENSATION:

$23-25 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750, $500 a year in tool reimbursement and much more!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned

• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred
• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• EPA HVAC Certification a plus
• CPO Certification a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
