Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure buildings meet safety and quality standards at our on-site communities. You will diagnose, repair, and complete make-ready tasks, while following safety policies and maintaining accurate records.

You will manage materials, assist with groundskeeping, and contribute to cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts, with an emphasis on compliant operations and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and repair according to policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch list.
• Procure materials, track inventory, and notify supervisor on re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts.
