Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and amenities. This role handles work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant units in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, manage inventory, and document work thoroughly while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes ready for leasing by inspecting and completing punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Maintains inventory by tracking materials and notifying supervisor about re-orders.
• Documents work orders promptly and accurately for proper recording.
• Supports grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and maintaining facilities.
• Assists in cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
