Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep multifamily communities running smoothly. You’ll prepare apartments between residents, respond to on-site maintenance calls, and perform preventative maintenance.

This role requires practical trade skills, the ability to management a 24/7 emergency line, and a commitment to safety. The position is full-time, on-site, with competitive hourly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA certification preferred.
• Drywalling and carpentry experience.
• Plumbing knowledge and soldering copper piping.
• Electrical knowledge of outlets, switches and fixtures.
• Appliance repair experience (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, disposal).
• Water heater knowledge (electric and gas).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner by priority.
• Make ready / turning units between tenants.
• Paint/stain interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain and adapt a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Manage 24/7 emergency cell phone coverage.
• Snow removal.

Multifamily Housing | Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

We are looking for a career oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in Columbus, OH. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for getting apartments ready in between residents, on-site maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance.

• Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
• PLUS quarterly bonus up to $750.00

Job Duties:

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
• Snow removal

What we need from you:

• HVAC or EPA Certification preferred
• Drywalling including painting and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
• Water heater knowledge both electric and gas
