Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician for Abbey Court Apartments in Evansville, IN. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will handle work orders, prepare units for occupancy, perform preventive maintenance, and support 24/7 emergency coverage with the team. A valid driver’s license and 2+ years in maintenance are required.

• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Maintenance skills assessment administered during interview.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turn apartments between residents.
• Paint/ stain interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain property grounds and common areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Keep maintenance shop clean and organized.

Multifamily Housing | Pay: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour + Bonus Potential

Monarch Investment is actively interviewing qualified maintenance candidates for an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Abbey Court Apartments in Evansville, IN.

• $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
• Up to $3,000 a year in Quarterly Bonuses

Essential Job Duties:

• Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Maintaining property grounds
• Preventative maintenance
• Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members

Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, painting, general construction or equivalent (we can train you!)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• A maintenance skills assessment is administered during the interview process for this position.
