Job summary

Monarch Investment seeks an Apartment Maintenance Rover Technician in Evansville, IN. You’ll apply HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills across multiple communities, handling solo projects and some on-call work. Valid EPA/HVAC certification and at least 1 year of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid EPA/HVAC certification and HVAC experience (installs/ repairs).
• Valid pool certification is preferred.
• 1+ year of maintenance or related work experience.
• Experience managing or executing capital projects is a plus.
• Able to climb ladders from 6’ to 32’ and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry tasks across multiple apartment communities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and disposals.
• Travel between sites daily and manage solo projects with self-motivation.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and safety training as needed.

Monarch Investment has the opportunity of a lifetime for the right maintenance individual! Today we are looking for an Apartment Maintenance Rover Technician in the Evansville, IN area. SCHEDULE:

M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
Some on-call at properties located in Evansville (About 1 week out of every 7 weeks)

• $32.00 to $35.00 per hour

What we need from you:

• Valid EPA / HVAC certification and demonstrated HVAC experience (including installs/ repairs)
• Valid pool certification (Preferred)
• 1+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
• Some experience in apartment maintenance
• Some experience managing and/or executing capital projects
• Must be able to climb ladders, 6’ to 32’
• Must have basic safety knowledge and ability to apply principles to work (basic training will be provided within 30 days of hire if needed)
• General understanding and ability to complete the following:
  • Dry walling, including painting and carpentry
  • Plumbing, sweating copper pipe
  • Electrical including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
  • HVAC and/or boiler systems
  • Water heaters, both electric and gas
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances including but not limited to refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposal
• Ability to self-manage and stay on task during solo projects
• Ability to travel and work between different sites as directed on a daily basis

A maintenance skills assessment is administered during the interview process for this position

This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, a drug screening and Valid Drivers license required.

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
