Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group seeks an Apartment Maintenance Rover Technician in Evansville, IN. The role involves servicing multiple communities, handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, and working on capital projects across the Evansville area.

You will be part of the regional Rover team with schedule M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm, plus on-call at properties roughly 1 week every 7 weeks. Includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus and strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• EPA/HVAC certification required or with demonstrated HVAC experience
• Pool certification preferred
• 1+ years in maintenance or equivalent
• Experience in apartment maintenance
• Experience managing/crompting capital projects

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair at multiple apartment communities in Evansville, IN
• Work on special projects around the Evansville area
• Travel between sites as directed daily
• Climb ladders and perform basic safety procedures
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, disposal)

SCHEDULE:
M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
Some on-call at properties located in Evansville (About 1 week out of every 7 weeks)

What we need from you:

• Valid EPA / HVAC certification and demonstrated HVAC experience (including installs/ repairs)
• Valid pool certification (Preferred)
• 1+ years' experience in maintenance or equivalent
• Some experience in apartment maintenance
• Some experience managing and/or executing capital projects
• Must be able to climb ladders, 6' to 32'
• Must have basic safety knowledge and ability to apply principles to work (basic training will be provided within 30 days of hire if needed)
• General understanding and ability to complete the following:
• Dry walling, including painting and carpentry
• Plumbing, sweating copper pipe
• Electrical including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• HVAC and/or boiler systems
• Water heaters, both electric and gas
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances including but not limited to refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposal
• Ability to self-manage and stay on task during solo projects
• Ability to travel and work between different sites as directed on a daily basis

A maintenance skills assessment is administered during the interview process for this position

This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, a drug screening and Valid Drivers license required.

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
