Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments between residents, handle on-site maintenance calls, and conduct preventative maintenance. The role offers hourly pay and a robust benefits package.

You will work on Make Ready units, perform interior/exterior painting, and support a 24/7 emergency cell phone with a focus on timely, quality work. This position includes on-site responsibilities and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA Certification preferred.
• Drywalling, painting and carpentry experience.
• Plumbing knowledge including sweating copper pipe.
• Electrical knowledge including outlets, switches and light fixtures.
• Appliance repair experience with refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and disposals.
• Water heater knowledge (electric and gas).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants.
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications.
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
• Snow removal

We are looking for a career oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in Columbus, OH. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for getting apartments ready in between residents, on-site maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance.

• Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
