Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician at our Glen Allen property. You will perform general maintenance and repairs to keep apartment homes and facilities in good working order, diagnosing and fixing HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.

With 1–3 years in multifamily property maintenance, HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification by hire or within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license, you join a team dedicated to resident satisfaction and high

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units; electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with residents after repairs are complete.
