Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Prairie Walk Apartments in South Kansas City, MO. This on-site role features a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule with an on-call rotation and pays $27.00-$29.00 per hour.

You will oversee work orders, tenant turnover, and preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and support a growing multifamily portfolio with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience is required.
• EPA certification is required.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience in the maintenance field.
• 4+ years’ experience in the multi-family housing industry preferred.
• Experience managing 1+ employees.
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience.
• Experience with light plumbing and electrical work.
• Knowledge of appliances including washers and dryers.
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties during interview.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work orders are completed and assigned by priority.
• Turn and prepare units between tenant occupancy.
• Complete repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Manage 24/7 on-call emergency coverage.
• Manage bids and plan major repairs with third-party vendors.
