Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance community safety and operations. You will interact with residents and guests, perform preventive and routine maintenance, and help keep common areas in top condition.

The role requires strong customer service and basic trade skills, with certifications in EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO preferred. A valid driver’s license and own tools are necessary for on-site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance or a trade with basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
• Certifications including EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO are required.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests and perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Respond to emergency calls outside normal hours.
