Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities (a division of Irvine Company) is hiring a Service Manager I to oversee maintenance at multifamily communities. You will lead a maintenance team, manage service requests, preventative maintenance, and unit turnovers while upholding safety and budget targets.

Your role includes ensuring OSHA compliance, coordinating inspections, and driving timely, high-quality work across up to 500 apartment homes. A proactive leader with 2–5 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• EPA 608 (Core and Type II) certification required.
• Valid California driver’s license; vehicle insurance as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance operations for communities up to 500 homes.
• Leads maintenance team to deliver service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Manages budget, inventory, and purchasing/invoicing; ensures OSHA compliance.
• Drives on-site safety, audits, and quality of work; mentors staff.
• Coordinates vendor projects, unit turnovers, and inspections.
