Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across multifamily communities. You will oversee repairs, make-readies, preventatives, and safety protocols while ensuring resident satisfaction and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong maintenance skills (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), and familiarity with OneSite. The role requires a flexible schedule, weekend/holiday coverage, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and some college or trade school preferred.
• EPA Type I and II, or Universal certification required
• Certified Apartment Service Technician (CAMT) preferred
• Permits/city/state certifications may be required to perform job responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team and schedule activities such as make-readies and service requests.
• Monitor and prioritize service requests; escalate emergencies as needed
• Communicate assignments and monitor workload to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on community appliances and equipment
• Manage make-ready process by assessing vacant units and coordinating with vendors
• Maintain records in OneSite for service requests and make-readies
• Identify safety hazards and report to Community Manager
• Assist with recruiting and mentoring maintenance staff
• Conduct property safety audits and monitor inventory and budgets
• Support grounds keeping, pool maintenance, and general community upkeep
