Responsibilities include credit checks, lease packet preparation, and maintaining positive resident relations. The position requires a HS diploma, some real estate training, and a valid driver’s license, with weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Some advanced real estate training, including familiarity with Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws.
• Prior leasing experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepares lease packets.
• Inspects apartments prior to showing them.
• Leases units.
• Provides information over the telephone to prospective residents.
• Maintains a visible public relations attitude toward current and prospective residents.
